Senior Immersive Product Designer
You will define how egly feels from the first moment the display wakes up. The role spans product systems, spatial interaction, prototypes, user studies, motion, accessibility, and the quiet details that make advanced technology feel natural.
What you will build
- Design core flows for launch, capture, navigation, notifications, handoff, and privacy controls.
- Prototype spatial interfaces in Figma, Spline, Reality Composer, Unity, SwiftUI, or code.
- Create principles for gaze, gesture, voice, proximity, and environmental awareness.
- Work with engineering to convert prototypes into product behavior that survives real-world constraints.
What you bring
- 7+ years designing complex consumer products, creative tools, OS surfaces, AR/VR, wearables, or premium hardware experiences.
- A portfolio showing interaction decisions, prototypes, constraints, and shipped outcomes.
- Strong taste for typography, motion, visual hierarchy, and restraint.
- Ability to run remote design reviews, critique, research synthesis, and product decision-making.
Nice to have
- Experience with spatial design systems, 3D interaction, hand tracking, or multimodal interfaces.
- Experience designing privacy, safety, or trust surfaces for camera-enabled products.
- Ability to prototype in SwiftUI, React, Unity, or WebXR.
Remote setup
This role is fully remote. We work async-first with written specs, weekly product reviews, focused lab blocks, and planned travel for hardware bring-up, field testing, and team sessions when needed.
Process
Intro call, portfolio or technical review, practical work session, founder conversation with Marvin Huelsmann, and offer. We keep the process direct and aim to finish within two weeks.
